SET-UP TIME NO EARLIER THAN 6 a.m.

The Yard Sale will take place throughout the Midway Manor neighborhood and at the Midway Manor Park by the newly named Sonia Sotomayor Dual Language school (aka Midway Manor school). GPS Location 2020 E Pennsylvania STREET Allentown PA 18109.  The Park is bordered by Pennsylvania Street, Tacoma Street, Highland Street, and Ulster Street.  Tables/items should be placed on the grass so buyers can walk on sidewalks.  (Reminder: Tables are not supplied.)

Midway Manor volunteers (Keri and Enid) will be there to check you in.  They will be wearing  light greenish yellow safety vests and will probably be located around the front of the school. We suggest that you check in with the volunteer, unload your items and then move your car to either the school parking lot located off of Tacoma Street or to another space away from the park before you start arranging your items for sale.  Traffic gets very congested around the park and we would hate to have your car scratched or hit.

Yard sale spaces ARE NOT RESERVED. It is a first come, first take situation.  Pennsylvania Street and Tacoma Street sidewalks are shaded by trees and are the most desired spots.  Spaces are approx. 4 pavement blocks in length (more than 10 feet) and are marked off by chalk.   

Although Highland Street and Ulster Street have trees, there is not always shade in the late morning.  If you prefer to set-up your tables/canopies on Highland, Ulster, or unshaded Pennsylvania St (AND since you will probably not be in the shade), you are not restricted to 10 feet (or 4 pavement blocks).

The Midway Manor Snack Shed (by the soccer field) will be open. BREAKFAST (6:30 am) Donuts, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, hot/cold drinks.  LUNCH (10:30 am): Hot dogs, fries, hot/cold drinks, etc.  VENMO and CASH accepted.

A Port-a-potty is located behind the Shed/by the school parking lot.

We ask that you please help us clean-up after the sale so that the area around your sale is as clean as it was when you arrived. Please do not stuff the waste receptacles with your unsold items.
